Telehealth launch checklist for business operators.
A responsible launch is a sequence of verified decisions and handoffs. Use this checklist to align the business, platform, independent care, pharmacy, privacy, marketing, support, and measurement work before opening acquisition.
01
Confirm business fit and internal ownership.
Define the audience, offer, positioning, acquisition owner, support owner, budget, success criteria, and decision rights. Assign one accountable lead for the full launch rather than distributing ownership across unconnected vendors.
02
Complete the responsibility map.
Document what the business owns, what the platform coordinates, what independent clinicians decide, and what pharmacies handle. Add escalation contacts and approval owners for every handoff.
03
Configure and test the complete journey.
Test the path from marketing entry through intake, communication, independent evaluation, payment, eligible fulfillment handoffs, support, and follow-up. Include failure, exception, and escalation scenarios—not only the happy path.
04
Review privacy, claims, and disclosures.
Identify every tool that receives information, confirm appropriate access, keep sensitive data out of ordinary marketing analytics, and review health-related claims and limitations in context. The FTC emphasizes that health advertising must be truthful, not misleading, and adequately supported.

Establish launch evidence and measurement.
Record approvals, test results, unresolved risks, support coverage, analytics events, inquiry handling, and the decision to go live. Define the first review window and which measures will determine whether to expand, revise, or pause.
